The Night Folk: Ghostly beings in the alemanic mythology

It has been said that in old times there where nights when you could hear mutter of voices and noises of footsteps outside. The old people knew that this was the night folk. A cortege of the deceased, unable to find their peace. This wild band races without a leader, back and forth throughout the valleys, comparable to a skittering army of the dead. Only some pert and curious people dared to watch out of the window when they heard them, because it was said that in the last row could be seen those who are going to die soon.

Just one thing - with stock from sxc.hu - please don't credit the site, but the artist. Otherwise it would be like saying you used stock from DA. :)
